Prototype v28
Clickable prototypes for the KeptSafe MVP. All data is fictional. Built with Bootstrap 5.3 and the KeptSafe theme (brand kit v3). Requirement IDs refer to requirements/prd-v28.md.
Changes from v27: several companies on one sign-in: company switcher on every office page (like Xero), My companies with invitations, data and brand per company, users and licences per company, technicians and subcontractors working for more than one company, client portal switch. v27: no “free users”: subcontractor and client portal access aren’t users and aren’t shown in the licence summary. v26: licences are billed from when the invite is sent (by the day); contractor technicians pay the full rate. v25: Settings: team and licences (add, invite, edit, deactivate, live licence cost), subcontractors, price book (add, edit, archive, CSV import, bulk price change), asset types and checklists, company settings. Changes flow into the schedule, quotes, the technician app and reports. v24: office dashboard: key numbers, one "Needs attention" queue across every area, today in the field, compliance at risk, money and aged debt, quotes, recent activity, show/hide widgets. v23: portal access per contact: all sites or chosen sites (Clients › contact › Portal access); the portal scopes everything to those sites; site-only contacts get that site’s reports and visit emails. v22: client portal, branded from the brand kit: site compliance, read-only floorplans and assets, defects, reports library (only released reports), quote approve/decline, invoices with bank transfer details, ask for a service (lands in the schedule). v21: tax invoice templates keep the ATO-required content: header with ABN, details with “Tax invoice”, number, date and client, line items and GST can’t be removed, hidden or switched off; invoice templates can’t be published until they comply. v20: customisable reports: template builder (drag-and-drop blocks, live preview on real jobs, conditions, versions and publishing), brand kit, template per client; the office report review uses the client’s published template and keeps the report exactly as issued. v19: per-client setting to send service reports straight to the client (Clients › Edit); office review stays the default. Example Street Medical is set to send straight away. v18: every check on every asset must be answered (no defaults, no bulk pass); service reports go to the office to review before the client gets them (jobs: Report to review filter and review screen). v17: technician app "My day": check in, service assets (list, floorplan, sticker scan, bulk pass, open defects carried over), defects with photos, parts requests, client sign-off, offline with sync; results show on the office job page. v16: jobs (list, detail, new/edit) and the schedule board (drag to book, booking checks that warn but never block, overdue routines); quotes create real jobs; clients get a Jobs tab; only completed jobs reach Ready to invoice. v15: clients (list + detail with quotes, invoices, POs), suppliers (list, add/edit, linked POs), Xero account code per price book item. v14: invoices are bank-transfer only (no card payment mention); tech PO requests always need office approval. v13: purchase orders and invoices added (brand kit v4 theme). v12: tables inside cards line up with the card padding (quotes list and quote items). v11: redesigned quote status badges (tinted, icon + label, consistent padding) and filter-tab count bubbles. v10: quoting added: field quote from survey defects, office quotes with approval queue, client approval page. v9: gates relaxed: ABN lookup and mobile optional in account onboarding; contact and double-booking checks are warnings in client onboarding. v8: submitted surveys stay editable; later edits are counted and sent as updates (no lock, no empty-survey gate). v7: the site survey now runs on tablet (split layout) and desktop (web app); all three share one survey record. v6: mobile site survey added (Ionic 8). Requirement IDs refer to prd-v7. v5: client onboarding added. v4: service/state cards are a consistent size; the finish screen shows only the full-width Getting started checklist. v3: the "Bring your data" step is removed from onboarding (import moves into the app; a pointer sits on the Getting started checklist). v2: dark header; no Microsoft/Google sign-in; migration is paid.
Site survey: phone, tablet & desktop
Field app (Ionic) on phone or tablet (split layout), and the desktop web app (Bootstrap) with plan upload, drag-to-move pins and USB scanner entry. All three share one survey record.
Quoting
Field quote from survey defects (price book suggestions, client pricing, approval routing, offline) → office quotes with approval queue, editor, cost & margin, revisions, create job / PO → client approval page branded as the contractor.
Technician app: My day
Today's jobs, check in, service 48 assets by level on the floorplan or by scanning stickers, answer every check on each asset, record defects with photos, request parts, get the client's signature and finish; the report goes to the office to review. Works offline and syncs without losing the office's changes.
